Since you both reported the original stories last year , I thought you might be interested ... the pink flamingo rises like a phoenix again! HOORAY!

It’s not a plastic one, but there’s one in my garden right now.
The gazing ball is next, just after the bicycle wheel/plastic cup windmill

My daughter in Miami has said she would like some. Any idea on how to order?

Saw the headline and thought it was a revival of John Water’s film “Pink Flamingos” starring Divine.

Not sure they are enven in production yet ...but I'm sure an
online search would lead to someone with an inventory.

Saw it in college, is my only available excuse. A movie, that once you have seen it, you can never deny that you have.
You are better for having never seen it.

You are better for having never seen it.Which can be said for most of the films I see these days. Ouch!

Can a resurgence of the lawn jockey statue be far behind?
To: KingSnorky
HAHAHA! I was thinking the same thing when I posted the story!
Folks who dislike lawn jockeys breathe a sigh of relief.

I used to drive by one of those original lawn jockeys on my way to work. As the neighborhood changed the lawn jockey magically turned into a Mexican wearing a sombrero and a sash, probably for the self preservation of the home owner. As the neighborhood changed some more the jockey turned into a purely Caucasian cowboy with a vest and Stetson hat. I laughed my butt off. If the home owner wanted to stay alive and well he should have just retired the little s.o.b. rather than go to all that trouble painting and dressing him. LOL

Ping.
To: Dumpster Baby
HAHAHA! Near here, a quintessential 18th C colonial has two pink flamingos perched near an ancient stone fence. What makes it so incongruous is, the lady [I resume] of the house changes their ‘outfits’ for every holiday ... she must have a terrific sense of humor. Since it is in a designated historic district ...there maybe more to the story that I don’t know about.
Wish I had pix.
