I have a question for those of you who enjoy gardening. I have a very good friend who has a yard full of this vine. We thought it was a form of poison-ivy because whenever we touch it, we get a rash. We have researched quite a bit and discovered it's not poison-ivy, but peppervine. Has anyone else ever run into this? I have found a couple of gardening forums that have some anecdotal evidence of the rash, but nothing factual. We have found it is very prolific and next to impossible to eradicate. Thanks all for your help.
If you want use an herbicide, use one labeled for woody plants. Roundup by itself won’t work. Look for one that has triclopyr and 2-4D. A couple of goats are probably your best alternative. :)
