Be sure to make her cognizant of the danger of static electricity. It is not normally a problem at this time of year, but if Anoreth has ever removed a sweater or walked across a carpet to open a door, I'm sure she will have noticed an electric spark from time to time.

Combine the possibility of a spark with a highly volatile fuel, and an open filler cap, and the consequences can be disastrous!

As an example, there is a safety film from a gas-station camera. They call her "Sweater Girl." Should be 'nuff said.

Static electricity is a real problem here, most of the year, and people don’t realize it. I try to dress in natural fabrics (mostly cotton) when I plan to fill the tank. Even then, there is a possibility of a spark from the seat cover.
