Not to worry. I didn't have my Sunday half-cup of coffee so this morning's is my weekly half-cup.
It still didn't help. *\:-(

A half-cup of coffee? I think I have that left in the pot from this morning, actually ... and I needed to find out what the boys are doing in the kitchen, anyway!

There’s rarely a drop left here, but Anoreth went out early to hunt for crawfish. (Didn’t find any - she says they have some in the pond at church, though.)
Now that I’ve got my half-cup, I remembered some more good news ... the part for the Dyson came, so I’ll be back in the vacuuming business!

Yes, I love it, and so does my neighbor across the street who has two dogs, four cats, and three children in the house on an average day.
The belt that turns the carpet-beater broke (when I vacuumed up my husband’s pajama pants by accident), and Dyson has sent a new beater and a new belt, because they redesigned the beater to hold a wider belt.
My husband should be able to install it in minutes, and then I can SWEEP UP!

Maybe you should go on a run with TC! Even back in college I couldn't run far. Problems with a knee. Bicycles were fine, though.

How do you get AAA out to the Flying Castle for a flat?

"How do you get AAA out to the Flying Castle for a flat?" You don't.
"Yankee thrift" is the watchword, "Buy it new; wear it out. Make it do, or do without."
Besides, in the Flying Castle, we are the triple A.

In the area about 20 miles west of here, people would get angry if you called them “Yankees.”

Yankee thrift and Yankee ingenuity are noteworthy characteristics because they are true.
Just as Suthren charm and hospitality are also true.
My part of the country has its appeal as well. You can get crabs here.

Who likes Yankees? Married one. Married into a whole family of same. But they're good old-style Yankees, rural folk.
Took years, but the goodwife no longer pours maple syrup on grits. Even calling it a "Mason-Dixon breakfast" can't make that right! Now she eats grits as the good Lord intended us to eat them and enjoy!
