Red Hat is to help the communist government of Kerala, in southwestern India, to deploy open-source software in its e-governance and literacy efforts.

BTW, Bill Gates was in India a while back, pushing his own software, and even giving out hundreds of millions of dollars. Microsoft called Kerala an important market and actively pushed Windows there, offering it to schools at a very deep discount. Red Hat is not allowed to do the same?

After seeing the last few posts and how all of that has transpired, I can now fully appreciate the Bush administration’s position when it comes to dealing with the left wing media.
