flag is right. that's how a properly hung flag would look when billowing in the wind while charging the enemy.

I believe a flag patch is made so that the colors are “streaming”. Imagine a moving flag pole, with the blue field clesest to the pole and you have the reason that the flag is reversed in such a patch.

That is the correct way to wear the flag on right arm. It implies that the flag is always moving forward...the American flag never retreats.
