WHEATON, Ill. (STNG) -- A veteran DuPage County prosecutor was driving drunk with a blood-alcohol level three times the legal limit when she died in a May 11 car crash, authorities said Friday.
Jane Radostits died after the 3:45 p.m. head-on crash near Winfield that occurred when her county-issued Chevrolet Impala collided with a Chevy Tahoe SUV, officials have said. Two other vehicles also were damaged in the collision, which happened on a four-lane stretch of Winfield Road and seriously injured a West Chicago woman driving the Tahoe.

Years ago I came to the conclusion that house painters were the heaviest drinkers of the trades.
When it comes to substance abuse, no profession or white collar job equals the trades or the unskilled laborers fields.

My most memorable painting job was painting a small kitchen.
The owner of the house was a single woman with two daughters 18 and 19, and in the kitchen she had a second refrigerator dedicated to a full size keg of beer with a tap on the outside of the refrigerator.
The job took almost a month for my partner and I to finish, and it includes my only mother, daughter story.
A minor player was one very naive Navy SEAL boyfriend.
