I'm experiencing a Free Republic display problem. Normally my display for News/Activism is the title followed by the summary with the number of times viewed and the number of responses.
Somehow my preferences got changed and now I get all posts displayed with no summaries.
I checked my preferences and have made no changes. If I log out I get the correct view. I tried deleting cookies to see if the problem was a corruption in the cookie but to no avail.
Any ideas?
Are you looking at messages instead of threads? If so, just click Threads at the top right corner. If that's not your problem..please ignore, I have no idea what I'm doing either.
Go here:
http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/settings
...and then scroll down to “Browse”
Make your changes to get it back to normal there.
I meant “Browsing” not “Browse”
That fixed it, thanks. The funny thing is that I tried both my computer at work and my computer at home and both had the exact same problem. I did’t realize that the FR web site stores your current viewing mode on the server rather than in a cookie on your local computer.
