I have been cutting lagustrom shrubs planted by birds. I hate lagustrom trees with those ugly bunches of purple berries. We had them cut down, but the sweet little birds have them planted EVERYWHERE. Then I found a “bush” growing behind one of my oaks, so I cut that one up too. I don’t just cut but I destroy. I spray Pathfinder on the stub and lots of it, to make sure it doesn’t come back. Then I planted some hostas, will plant more tomorrow. I dug up some iris and will replant them tomorrow too. It was hottern’ hades out there, not as hot as Houston, but it is hot. Oh and a small snake hissed at me so I lopped off it’s little head. They are quick, but while he was hissing I was quicker. First thing I did this AM was put some laundry in the washer, some in the dryer, cleaned off the table in the garage and watered some plants. I’m bushed. Well off to cool off and clean up. bbl.
Well, if I ever hiss at you, let me assure you, it will be from a distance. I don’t want my head lopped off.
