The alternative, of course, is that in fact Oswald acted alone.

Evidence that the CIA was involved will hardly support a 'case closed' lone gunman theory.
There's "involved" and "involved." The CIA may have had some dealings with Oswald.
I'd say you could bet on that.
There is no way he got out of Russia so easily after getting in unless SOMEONE (CIA/KGB) thought he was a double agent.
True enough.
But it defies logic to think that the CIA couldn't kill Castro, one of the most public figures in the world, despite repeated attempts,
Castro lived as a well protected dictator in a disarmed secret police type society. The USA of '63 was wide open.
but could pull off an incredible murder of JFK that left no bullet casings, no additional sound signatures, produced only three wounds, and had a guy perfectly in the right place to have fired all the shots.
Good planning by a small group beats big operations by committees any day.
The alternative, of course, is that in fact Oswald acted alone.
Now that, as the only "alternative", to me is another incredible leap.
Literally anyone Oswald knew could have helped him shoot from that same window, picked up their own casings, left Oswald's, and been long gone before anyone checked.
But then, 'everyone knows' Oswald was an absolute loner, with no known casual friends or acquaintances, - or at least the Report so implied. - Amazing.
