Why? Because there were 5 of them? Did their deaths have a national or international impact?
Should this story have been in breaking news? Five killed when Amtrak train collides with SUV (5:21 pm): www.recordnet.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article%3FAID%3D/20070508/A_NEWS/70508006&cid=0
Bottom line, as I have posted before, is that I didn't hit the abuse button. So if you have a problem with it being taken out of breaking news, take it up with the Mods.

Hey, I wasn’t complaining about it being in breaking news. However, if it IS there...it warrants it as much as any other story.
Sad, very, very sad.
My sympathy to you and to the families of those who perished. It is a very sad story. Young lives snuffed out before they could begin living their lives. We are so sorry. May they rest in peace.
It’s been in local news, where it belongs, for about the last 24 hours.
When I see someone give an ‘amusing’ to another poster who has just called me a ‘Loser’ and who makes snide comments behind my back, don’t expect me to be particularly friendly to you on that thread.
Thank you for your kind words.
here is a recent article that mentions Jenny and Kyle
