That was my initial reaction, except the droppings are straight down, by freefall gravity. Then, when the UFO speeds away, that shoots down the theory of a falling item.
Not falling, just tailing off, seen the same thing several years ago when when some piece of Russian equipment was re-entering. When it’s coming at you it looks like it’s actually going straight down, when it’s actually falling behind. Looks the same way when it’s going away.
The object never "speeds away". It is constantly moving in that lateral (left to right) direction. If you watch carefully during the first half, you can see an occasional cloud line go by. It's only when it gets down toward the skyline you can see the actual lateral movement as the object appears to be tumbling toward earth at a high rate of speed from left to right.
