Yes; bears have shown up at shopping centers in Atlanta and now. . .coyotes expanding their populations and boundaries as well. . .now in the city and 'burbs' around Atlanta.

Message on news last night as to the coyote cocerns was basically - 'nothing we can do about it - they won't bother you. . .if they come close, just wave arms make noise' etc. (works for bears too. . .) and of course, just be aware if you have 'small pets'.

Sounds like the 'safe play yard' is no longer and that many families now have 'frontier' fears. Report was surely biased to the coyote and concerns reduced to the innocuous.

There are things that can be done.

Allow hunting. The government can even make money selling hunting licenses...

And not just pets, but also kids are on the menu too.
