Paris Hilton is devastated with a Los Angeles judge's decision to sentence her to 45 days behind bars--insisting she "doesn't deserve this."
The hotel heiress will serve just under seven weeks in a California jail cell, after she was found guilty for violating a probation order and driving with a suspended license in February.
The 26-year-old fought back tears as the sentence was handed down to her at Los Angeles County Superior Court by Judge Michael T. Sauer on Friday, but by yesterday afternoon she was back in Beverly Hills to apparently drown her sorrows with a bout of retail therapy.
Earlier that morning, Paris bemoaned her fate to waiting paparazzi outside her L.A. home, according to the New York Daily News.
She said, "I told the truth yesterday. I feel that I was treated unfairly and that the sentence is both cruel and unwanted and I don't deserve this."
Hilton is due to begin her prison stint at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Los Angeles County on June 5.

Envy? What’s there to be envious about a girl who is obviously missing a few screws.
The girl is so arrogant, even showed up late for court, she should be kept in jail till she loses the attitude. Didn’t have time to read what she was signing, hmm, maybe if she partied a little less she would have had the time to find out that she was not supposed to be driving.
Oh, I’m hoping!
Well, two outta three. :-)
THere is a lot to envy,,beauty, money for starters.
You really think she should stay in jail till she loses her “attitude”? Actually I think her attitude, “to hell with all of you”, is what is most enviable.
Imagine being rich, beautiful and skinny enough to say “to hell with all of you”? Must be just fabulous.
Besides, all she needs is a good husband and she will come round. She is just a youngster for all of her couture and such.
Aren’t we a little too focused on Paris?
I'll take that bet. Five dollars ($5.00) U.S. Not Euros or Canadian. ;^)
If the judicial system is to start being used to correct people's attitudes, we're going to need another $500 billion. ;)
“I think her attitude, to hell with all of you, is what is most enviable.”
I can’t stand people having to slide down off their high horses... to the hooting of the rabble no less.
I know.
We should print up some FREE PARIS posters. And threaten to riot in, say, Neiman Marcus or Tiffany. I bet they would cave and let her out on work release. And then we can all read Inquirer again without disappointment.
Now if Angelie and Brad split, well Paris can stay in jail for all I care. Or if Brittany shows up nekkid somewhere.
cajungirl, i notice you got class.
Sorry, Paris. What you DON’T deserve is money or fame.
what’s a commie like you doing on a board like this?
While Supplies Last!
whats a commie like you doing on a board like this?
Educating the ignorant, apparently.
I agree that this is harsh, but she did get off one time with probation and then made another illegal act. I would just like to know if other people in the same position get that type of decision. 45 days does seem harsh. Can’t they see how she does with 10 days and if she does not shape up than put her in for a longer time.
Who were the ones saying that Libby didn’t deserve jail and now you are complaining about some girl. WTH? If she deserves jail than Libby does too. Who did more damage to the Republican Party?????
ping
Unwanted? No doubt. But cruel? Please!
Hey Hilton....stainless steel toilet rims are cold...get used to it! BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
