Yup, a little bit, thanks.
Good night Soaring Feather. Rest well.
Owww. I hate the stomach virus..Glad you are better..
I had shopping to do today..Glad that’s done for the week.
My son and his wife are coming tomorrow to take me out for my birthday so I’m not cooking...Woo Hoo!
I have not been working in the yard these last few days..I always have more to do, though!
For those of you who knew GrandEagle....sad news....beachn4fun just posted this.....
Good evening, folks
I am here tonight with sad news.
For those of you who knew him, Ive just received word that GrandEagle has passed away suddenly.
I ask those of you so inclined to remember his family in your prayers tomorrow. He leaves behind a wife and four small children. For those of you who might not have known, he is an AF Vet.
I do not know anything about funeral or such. But, his wife and children will need your prayers in the days ahead.
For those of you who might want to pass along your well wishes or prayers, you can FReepmail me (beachn4fun) and I will save them to a document and print it and mail it to his family later.
Just yelling right now..In shock..Prayers follow..OH MY God is a cry right now.
Me too......beachy called me....it is just hitting home now. Dear God, please watch over this family. Amen.
Kathy , I am just so terribly sad and my heart breaks for his family..Lord pleae take care of them.
That must be such a relief to feel better tonight. It went through my dr’s whole family and made the papers that Boston was hit bad.
GrandEagle was a young man in his early 50s, a wonderful guy who had a beautiful family and who love his job.
This is just wrong.
It is truly sad. Prayers for his family.
God must have needed another angel today.
((HUGS))
My husband was 48 when he died of of a heart attack..Our children were not so young as Grand Eagle’s...It hits close to home nevertheless and, selfishly, I myself will miss him. I have bricks on my chest...
1Corinthians 13
8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
This latter part of the chapter helps comfort me..No ..I don’t understand ..but someday.....
I’m so sorry to learn that! It’s a horrible thing to lose one so close and so young!
Thank you, LadyJ, indeed...My son is near Grand Eagle’s age..and had quadruple bypass surgery in 2004 . It is very close to home indeed.
