Actually, and I'm not trying to sound like a smart ass, some of the characters look Klingon. Now, if I were involved in a project to produce a craft like this, I would decorate it with Klingon characters. (Though, I'd make the markings say something like "Stop staring!". These look random.) I'd do it to make any leaked photos seem to be nothing more than a photoshopped hoax.

It wasn´t actually hard to re-create a 3d model of that “uav”. After that, all i needed was a few minutes in photoshop and voilà...

The quality of my photoshopping is not as good as it is in original photos, though. There is no textures nor any fancy materials in that model i made, just plain default material of Luxology Modo. I used global illumination to create a bit of realism to the render...

If that thing isn´t a 3d model, i got to have one, just for fun. After all it looks cool!

3d-model created in Luxology Modo and comp created in photoshop cs3. Quality ain´t best possible, but it works...

Just an example what can be created by anyone, even without any experience from “fx-industry”.
