Strange Craft (Clear UFO Photos? Updates at Post #307, #489, #502, #601 & #712-Chad to speak!)

For everyone who complains that all UFO photos are blurry...

Last month (April 2007), my wife and I were on a walk when we noticed a very large, very strange "craft" in the sky. My wife took a picture with her cell phone camera (first photo below). A few days later a friend (and neighbor) lent me his camera and came with me to take photos of this "craft". We found it and took a number of very clear photos. Picture #4 is taken from right below this thing and I must give my friend credit as I was not brave enough to get close enough to take this picture myself!

The craft is almost completely silent and moves very smoothly. It usually moves slowly until it decides to take off. Then it moves VERY quickly and is out of sight in the blink of an eye. MORE THAN ANYTHING I simply want to understand what this is and why it is here?

We found your show with Google and I have listened for a few nights now. I have decided that if anyone can help me understand what this thing is, it is you and your audience. I must admit I am deeply unsettled by this thing. I have never seen anything like this in my life... Location: I would prefer not to say for now.

How many times have you read the bible? Please be honest.

I've been through each book at least once, and I've been through selected books (Genesis, Exodus, Kings, Chronicles, the Samuels, the major prophets, and the gospels) multiple times.

In the interest of honesty, I will tell you that I've never sat down and read the entire thing sequentially, mostly because it's not a novel; different parts of it serve different purposes. However, I have both read and studied every book.

Do you believe the Bible to be a comprehensive document, containing every answer to every question? Or even every cosmological question?

So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

So you think that God would give the creation of the heavens secondary mention, much less importance than the animals on earth and that somehow there could be completely unmentioned life on planets around said stars that are somehow more significant than earth's animals? Can you tell me why God made these intelligent creatures that were not worthy of mention in His Word and placed them around distant stars that we will never visit?

The Book is OUR Bible, written for US and OUR salvation.

Why should it extensively discuss things not related to its primary mission?

In order to make your case, DM, it would really help if you could find a passage (say, in Genesis) that says "The Lord set the stars in their places, and also the planets. And the Lord said 'Though I make these planets for My pleasure, only the Earth do I fill with life, and set Man thereon to dwell and rule.'"

Likewise, it would help the biblically pro-ET crowd considerably if they could cite a verse or two saying "And God set the stars in their places, and also the planets. And the Lord said 'I make these planets for My pleasure, and as I have filled the Earth with life and placed Man therein to dwell, likewise do I fill other planets also with life, and with other of My children therein to dwell, made also in My image.'"

Fact is, the Bible doesn't contain either passage, nor anything like them. It doesn't explicitly address the topic at all. For anyone to claim that it does, in either direction, is dishonest.

Hey, nully, I noticed the thingies move around the center circle. What’s up with that?

Haven't a clue. FWIW, to me it looks like the arms all fold up close to the whisk.

I bet that makes it easy to transport by truck...

Thanks.

Perspective helps.

One can eventually mature with God’s help, Spirit and Grace . . . to the point

where one’s products, ideas, statements, . . . finger nail clippings and toe jam

are NOT the same things as one’s essence, personhood, identity.

And therefore, rejection of one’s statements, ideas . . . and the like are then able to be held at arm’s length and either put on a shelf for further consideration or dropped in the toilet and flushed.

I’ve had a long journey from the two year old reflexes to a more mature perspective, too.

Rejection has been a super keen issue in my 60 year journey.

Sheesh! Why doe this nonsense about me being a supposedly former Mormon occur? Amazing. You are not the first to jump to this erroneous conclusion. Some of the Calvinists jokers have been fiercely convinced I was a Mormon and been most hostile and delcarative accordingly—all falsely. Crazy.

The home page statement is:

As my dissertation chairman—a rather extremely brilliant Mormon bishop—when I asked him how he handled the changes in the Book of Mormon (which supposedly has never changed), he replied that: LIFE IS SOOOOOOOOO COMPLEX, JUST ABOUT ANY COCKAMAMIE EXPLANATION WILL DO. While I’m rather orthodox in my Christianity—I think he has a good point.

I had a Mormon Bishop as my dissertation chair at a SECULAR professional school set up by the California State Psychological association and is now part of what was United States International University.

Dr Edwards was/is a brilliant fellow who—one time—when one paper would have been an honor to most psychologists—one National APA convention, Dr Edwards presented 11—ELEVEN papers.

He was also a character. And, an expert on George Kelly’s Role Construct Theory.

George Kelly was also a Mormon but had brilliant insights into humans and human nature. His postulation was that humans are MOVEMENT.

Anyway—

No, I’m not a Mormon. Have never been a Momon. Only dated a half dozen Mormon girls. Lots of Mormons around my NW section of New Mexico.

Was reared an Assembly of God Pentecostal and my theology is not that removed from that core. However, my Christian perspective is much larger than some Assembly constructions on reality might allow.

In the first picture, (if you consider the long tail the back), there are more arms off to the right side. In the other pictures they are off to the left. I could see image reversal with a film camera, but digital? So they appear to move around from one side to the other.

Only dated a half dozen Mormon girls.

On the plus side, they were all willing to go on the same date with you simultaneously. =]

You said — “It’s just that free will/election thing that’s paradoxical and still more than a bit mysterious.”

Most likely so — “more than a bit mysterious” (as God’s ways are beyond our limited abilities at understanding all things...).

So, they are, more or less, “mental mind-games” to us, trying to come into the understanding of the infinite, using the tools of the finite, a most impossible task, it seems.

I mean, how would one ever understand (or “come to understand”) the Trinity, if it were not something that God had revealed to us. Without the revelation (that it *is so*), we would not know or understand. And yet, we still do not understand; we simply “believe God” in what He has revealed.

What we do know, is that we must choose to do certain things, in order to be saved, according to what the Bible tells us to do. If we decline, we are not saved. If we act and do according to the Scriptures, we are saved.

The rest may be mysterious (and perhaps debatable, but only to “us”) and in the hands of God, but that still does not take it away from us acting here and now.

Hmmmmmm

Some questions for your friend:

1. Does his job have anything to do with anything which would . . . indicate . . . that ANY kind of surveillance might be in someone’s interest?

2. Has he offended any great powers that be or sparked their interest in some way?

3. Does he live around any possible high tech, defense related etc. sorts of concerns?

4. How close does the craft get to his house typically?

5. Aluminum siding and roofing should take care of electro-magnetic radiation sufficiently to improve health protection . . . though probably not cheap . . . especially with a baby and all those expenses. It might be conceivable—not my specialty!—to put metal screening grounded around bedroom IF a sensor or fitting meter picked up electromagnetic radiation of any significance. I’m sure there are some FREEPERS who’d be experts in such but I don’t know how to find out who they are easily. Some electro-magnetic radiation wave-lengths DO have health related factors and even mental manipulation related factors. But I’m not an expert on that. I just know enough to know it’s true.

6. Keep a journal. Note the sightings, times, weather, perhaps major events of the day in the news especially locally. Note any major goings on in your family. Note anything of significance that might be grist for correlating later on—after enough weeks of journal keeping. I’d keep it on the computer with multiple backups—including a flash drive that I traded in and out with a flash drive kept secretly at a friend’s house. And, I’d print the journal every week or so and keep a copy of that off-site.

7. If I had a high resolution digital camera, I’d photograph it with whatever background I could as often as I reasonably could. If possible, get the date/time-stamp on each frame.

8. If it was ever close enough and I was not married with kid on the way . . . perhaps some neighborhood kids could safely try this . . . get some of those foamy party favor sorts of things—that shoot out foamy stringy kinds of threads . . . and see if you could get one to drape over the craft and see what happened. But then, there are the potential visits by the MIB.

9. If you have battery powered meters available . . . take measurements as often as possible and log those.

10. MUFON, CUFOS or Dr Steven Greer’s DISCLOSURE PROJ or some such should be interested in such a frequently viewable craft. High resolution videos should then be possible. Probably someone in the neighborhood has the technology.

11. I suppose if someone had a mini-firehose sort of nozzle on their garden hose, they could squirt pretty far and perhaps manage to get water on it and see what happened. How dangerous that would be electrically, I wouldn’t know. The nozzels used to be somewhat commonly available—brass.

12. Any of the above mentioned efforts to cause water or foamy stringy party favors to connect with it MIGHT be viewed by the operator of the craft in some cubicle somewhere and the craft might then be directed away accordingly or some such. THAT sequence of events would be interesting.

13. I suppose if it were close enough—one might throw a frisbee at it and see what happened. If the frisbee were wrapped tightly in foil, would sparks occur?

14. See if you could use a parabolic microphone to record the sounds and post those on FR. Popular Science and other mags have ads for such in the back. Or merely make one out of paper mache and maybe a lacquer coating or some such.

15. A ball of yarn or string could also be anchored and then tossed over the craft if it’s close enough—just to watch it’s reaction.

16. If there were several kids on the scene, each armed with the shooting confetti party favors, they could all shoot toward the craft on a signal and see if any force fields caused the confetti to fall in any unusual patterns.

17. It will be interesting to see if after all this stuff on the thread, if the thing stops appearing in that area.

18. Are there any defense related engineering types in the neighborhood? Or just such engineers who might be intrigued enough to join forces in exammining the phenomenon?

19. What are the responses of animals in the area? Any terriers?

20. Would be hard to arrange in a timely fashion . . . but it would be interesting to see how say 20 or so circularly arranged helium balloons released under it at the same time would behave and how the craft would behave toward them.

21. Slingshots and heavy duty paper wads should be hefty enough to reach it without causing much damage. Would be interesting to see what happened with those.

22. Also, perhaps pea shooters shooting frozen green peas. All such, of course, depending on whether the craft is typically within range, or not.

23. Paintball guns and balls could be interesting but I don’t know what the neighborhood regs would be on that. And then the calibration of the gun could make a difference on all such issues. I’d think it would be very funny for the craft to return “home” with a big purple paint ball splat on it.

24. I wonder if the wads of putty used to stick pics etc. to walls could be thrown or lofted to it—and whether they would stick to it.

25. If there were homing pigeons in the area . . . and if they were released under it . . . what would they do?

—guess that’s all I got off the top of my head. Very curious.
