Certainly not on the Dem. side of the aisle.
The problem is that the Democratic Party is in thrall to the most virulently anti-American, radical leftist sectarians in the country, so figures such as Giuliani-who's really an RFK Democrat-have no place in it.
Which is why we have them running for the GOP nomination in the first place.
This is another argument for a competitive two party system.
I really wish there was some concerted effort at bringing the Dems back to the world of the rational.
“There are no conservative candidates running for president.
Certainly not on the Dem. side of the aisle.”
None on my side of the aisle to be sure. A few moderate conservatives on the GOP, but with the possible exception of Sen. Thompson, they’re all marginalized.
“I really wish there was some concerted effort at bringing the Dems back to the world of the rational.”
The problem is, who is going to do it?
One of the most devastating things to hit American electoral politics in recent years was the abandonment of the Democratic party by conservatives in the 1980’s and 1990’s. The conservatives left a power vacuum in their wake that the moonbat socialists were all too happy to fill.
