Yea, I’d say its not piss then. Piss does smell, but anal gland experssion at least in my experience is darker colored (black or brown), thicker and stinks to high heaven.

Urine is a yellow ammonia smell, anal gland fluid will water your eyes... it does not smell like ANYTHING else in the world.

Pee is just peeing and there are options out there that can help, but if your cat is expressing its anal glands all over the place, I’d definately talk to a vet. And if they aren’t infected or have other issues that are behind it.. I’d have them removed.

Truthfully, it was clear when I saw some on the floor. I believe it is cat pee. It still won’t go away. I am not sure about this surgery. He is not coming in our new house so we can experiment. He is either going to be an outdoor cat, or he will be gone.
