Please....a cat will bite and scratch....but it can’t tear chunks of skin off of your body like a dog. It can’t clamp down and tear a huge chunk of your arm off....I’ve been around feral cats enough to know the difference. A pitbulls jaws are like steal. A cat will not do any kind of damage like a dog.

I have seen patients with faces ripped off by cats so be realistic. My own Birmanese, I trim her claws every week and I realize the damage she could cause if she wanted to...but I know she will not, she is just a loving fuzzball. Don’t underestimate cats, for that matter, don’t underestimate anyone, animals and humans alike. They are all capable of serious harm if it will ever get to it.
