Taylor says that prominent male genitals and female breasts developed to aid recognition of the opposite sex in creatures of similar size and shape.

Silly me. I thought breasts were for making milk to feed the baby. I wonder how many other species made it without such obvious differences?

It's no wonder scientists lose more and more credibility each day.

Actually, there must be more to it here. Other animals do not retain ponderous breasts beyond breast-feeding. I think some Chimps and Gorillas do, but basically no other animal has constant distended breasts. ONLY during lactation time for babies.

From the wikipedia breast article:

“Zoologists point out that no female mammal other than the human has breasts of comparable size when not lactating and that humans are the only primate that have permanently swollen breasts. This suggests that the external form of the breasts is connected to factors other than lactation alone.”
