Someone might want to pass on to Senator McCain that is opponents in the upcoming election thought todays Iraq vote was important enough to show up and represent the people that voted for them.

Sen. McCain did not and that, is exactly how many votes he should get in the primaries.

I’m no fan of McCain but his absence is no big deal. The SurrenderRats would have won regardless. And although he’s so wrong on so many issues he’s correct on the WOT.

A broken clock in only right twice a day and you’re saying McCain only has one issue?

He is paid to represent his people and failed yet again to do so.

IMHO, he is done getting a pass.

I'm inclined to think of McCain as the least repugnant RAT in the Senate. He's right on the WOT and I have, from time to time, heard him state a position on a particular issue with which I agreed.

He is paid to represent his people and failed yet again to do so.

That's up to the voters of AZ to decide next time he's up for re-election.Here in MA,for example,John F'in Kerry missed about 98% of the Senate's votes in '03 and '04 because he knew that the amoral voters of the state would re-elect him even if he had assumed room temperature.

Wow...more McCain/Graham bashing. Both senators, staunch supporters of the surge, knew in advance the outcome because they were given a headcount and both believed they could make better hay from the vote by being in military-conscious S.C. to criticize Dems, and maybe, just maybe, stopping some S.C. state lawmakers from making headway in the '08 election.

They are such staunch supporters of the surge in words, not deeds, as illustrated by their non vote. There really is nothing else to say. McCain was growing on me, but if he’s to busy to actually VOTE than I’m too busy for his run for office. Anything else, is pure spin
