My 4 yo dog has nasty allergies. We’ve always thought it was grass that caused it, but her vet said maybe we should consider a food allergy. Then this recall happened so I started looking for grain free. I’m hoping that with time this will reduce her itching and hair loss on her belly.

It should make a nice difference when you get her totally off grains.... someone else who was very frustrated has already commented she has seen a nice improvement in her Rottie since switching to grain-free.

Our dog of 14 years had terrible allergies, food and flea. We lived in Atlanta the last 6 years of her life and the vet suggested Flint River dog food. I also gave her baby carrot sticks instead of the treats that used red coloring. She was never allergy free, but those items helped her a lot.
