Maybe the stuff is good, but my experience has been that I could never get any of my cats to eat very much of the Science Diet canned food.

OTOH I've had several successive pets (dogs) I've fed Science Diet, and have never had a problem with their accepting the food. I did have a cat who would not eat it, however.

I have had customers tell me they've fed their cats Science Diet for years (one customer claims over 25 years) and swear by the product. It is the dry food, however. Another just this weekend bought a case and swore by the product.

I guess, as in anything, animals can be finicky. Could some of it have been the kittens taking a cue from the mothers?

One of the things I miss about having dogs (as opposed to cats) is that they're not quite as finicky!! LOL.

I'm not saying that Science Diet is terrible food. I just could never get any of my cats to eat very much of it; and what they would eat was only the dry food.

The finicky kittens could very well have been taking a cue from their mothers.
