Anybody know what's happening with Google Groups? Hasn't worked since very early yesterday morning...

Also, does anybody know of another (free, easy) way to access (and even post on) Usenet?

Google Groups work for me. Did you reboot and try logging on again?

Google Groups Has A Meltdown

This post was written by zzsimonb on 24 April, 2007 (17:15)

“At about 6am this morning Google started to experience problems with it’s popular Groups service, my research leads me to believe that whatever the problem was resulted in a complete failure of the service around noon. It is now 6pm and the service is still messed up, there is only partial functionality, and a great deal of user data is missing.”

Get Free Agent or Xnews shareware and load the groups from your ISP.

Get yourself a newsreader program. Just Google: usenet "free newsreader".

Make sure to scan all freeware for viruses before installing.
