You're exactly right but left out the fact that it's aimed at women who make up an increasingly vital Democrat voter demographic. Women are constantly propagandized by the Left through their magazines, organizations like the American Association of University Women, the League of Women Voters, ad nauseum.

Has anyone else noticed that politically outspoken lesbians, who seem to draw large female audiences, can't seem to fail in Hollywood or with the networks? Someone is constantly reinventing and creating TV megaphones for the Ellens, Rosies and awful "comics" like Paula Poundstone. Why are normal heterosexual women so strongly influenced by lesbian 'stars?' Does lesbianism represent some kind of independence and freedom from male 'domination' many women secretly long for? I just don't get it.

Beats me. Ellen has always seemed like the biggest waste of space on television to me. Not that I watch much these days.
