Fox just announced that contaminated pet food has been fed to hogs in six states. The hogs are under quarantine.

Fortunately, this has been a chicken and fish week in the Chairman's household.

Well, I betcha they are going through commercial chicken food as well. I am afraid I am going to be eating nothing but vegetables before long.

I still question the wisdom of buying food components from a country that thinks eating monkey brains is a delicacy.

Would you believe that there are folks down here who will not eat shrimp, since the hurricane? better not put a platter of boiled shrimp before me, I will go until stuffed. Some folks think the storm did the shrimp in, no so of course.

Isn’t that something, here too. Monday we had baked salmon sprinkled with greek seasoning and French herbs and last night we had baked chicken smothered in all kinds of herbs. Both delicous. I have been learning how to grow herbs, and boy do they produce a lot of wonderful flavors. Sunday we found some chocolate mint. I bought a couple, but now I have to find out how to use them. (lamb?)
