Interesting progression of Rosie's career recently - First, Imus get smacked down and Rosie starts babbling about the "thought police coming".

Next, she comes out and says she's not going to do any more controversial stuff, which is, face it, the only reason she's there.

And now, a few short weeks after Imus' debacle, Rosie's leaving, as they say, "to pursue other career options/to spend more time with her family".

I hate it when my brain gets sucked into this tabloid crap, but I'd like to know what the background on this was. It sounds like she got steamrolled.
