Depends on how good of a recruiter he is.
I knew a guy at basic that was the most ate-up guy in our platoon, maybe the whole company. He was from Jersey and he was going to be a medic (I hope for the sake of people’s health he washed out at Ft. Sam when he got there) even though his ASVAB scores weren’t high enough because his recruiter screwed some of his paperwork up and it required another 45 minute drive for him to the recruiter’s office to straighten it out.
This was the same guy who got caught pleasuring himself in both the barracks latrine and the latrine on a range.
