People magazine began as a magazine for real people. We soon caught the drift when it began to be about so called celebrities. I wouldn’t pick up a copy of People if it was the last piece of paper I had to wrap up some fish.

I know a woman that thought it was neat to marry her college professor. Now, it is years later and he is in his 80’s and she is in her early 50’s. The last I heard she was looking for a nursing home in FL for him, divorced him and married a guy closer to her own age....
