I feel like polluting today

Posted on 04/22/2007 6:08:14 AM PDT by CorbyCard

I probably won't really do it, but I'm so sick of all this eco-propaganda that it's tempting.

There's Al Gore running for election. It's Earth Day and even the ads in the paper are environmentally friendly. (Of course, they are PRINTED on newsprint and killing trees, but let's not be picky.)

Sorry, had to vent.

Depends on what you’re going to “pollute”? If you’re talking about throwing cans and bottles out the car window, go ahead — it gives the prisoners something to pick up. If you’re talking about not recyclying newspaper, go ahead, as the ROI is not there for reprocessing. If you’re talking about dumping used car oil or oil-based paint down your drain, don’t do that or you could kill the bacteria in the local sewage treatment plant; latex paint in small quantities probably won’t hurt. Whatever you decide, by all means keep exhaling CO2!

I’m not alone in being angry at all this garbage it seems. Here’s some more bashing of the lib media from the Media Research Center...

Sorry, had to vent.

Me to. I just released a substantial cloud of methane, thanks to that Vegan chili last night. Be glad I'm inside this computer!

I may teach my pup to bite hippies! Her sense of smell is so acute, she can pick up traces of bong, petruli oil and Grateful Dead albums from 100 feet away.
I think its a limit of one big hippie or two small (under 5 feet) Hippies on Earth Day.

I'm going to celebrate by releasing large quantities of carbon into the atmosphere by igniting a large bag of Kingsford charcoal and a liquid, fossile-based fuel that I will dowse it with.

I'm going to slowly cook a large slab of "animal flesh" over those coals.

I will fire up an small internal combustion engine and injure 10s of thousands of plants that happen to be in my lawn.

I will dump some very poisonous chemicals in my pool and then swim around in it....WITHOUT SUNSCREEN.

Are there any leftists that I won't be offending? Just to be sure I'll watch Fox News and write a check to a conservative politician.

Happy Earth Day!

My neighbor did his part last week as he cut down (without a permit!) a dozen or so large fir trees on his two properties. He chipped up and recycled the branches, but the chainsaws and chipper were sure spewing out the fumes!

I got about five-six cord of wood out of just two of them that were too "knotty" for the mill. One was almost four feet across at the base! My back is killing me today..........

I’m fixing to drive to Austin and back today in my old, gas-guzzling, non-emissions compliant suv. We will barbecue weenies and fajitas. I will also teach my children to throw rocks at small, furry woodland creatures.
What are you doing to help???

A side of pork ribs (bonus: offends the Muzzies)
rubbed with Cajun spices, covered with Memphis style sauce.

Now there’s an intelligent remark from a northerner. I live in south texas and have dealt with 120 degree temperatures every year I’ve been alive during the summer (sometimes in the fall too) so I’m used to it, I can’t wait until I can go visit my cousin in Michigan during Christmas time and not be snowed in every day.

I'm going to take a spin in my 1990 Mercury Sable and fill up with some cheap gas. Since my recent tuneup I'm now proud to report that I'm getting 1-1/2 mpg although I'm still emitting a block long cloud of noxious smoke that would make a 1930's locomotive envious.

I of course have to keep my car windows tightly closed so I don't die of carbon monoxide poisoning. When I'm in a really foul mood and stopped for a light(and the wind is blowing just right) I so love to put old smoky in neutral and stomp on the gas pedal whenever I see what I perceive as a liberal crossing the street in front of me and smothering he/she/it with a cloud of stinky smoke and fumes.

Yes, life is good.

Tomorrow I am sending one of my kids to schools with a shirt that has a picture of a factory on it that reads:

“Industrial Revolution Day April 22”

OK, figure this:

Oil is a natural beautiful thing buried in the ground.

We drill and pump it up to the surface. Costs bucks.

We refine (purify) it and use it.

Then after I drain it out of my truck it is HARMFUL to put it back into the ground.

Wasn't it all beautiful and natural in the ground?

Pshaw.

I'm going to burn some plastic.

I’m fixin baby limas from California with some smoked pig butt from Iowa, onions shipped from Georgia, carrots from Idaho and cooking it all over some methane from Wyoming. Ain’t capitalism great?

We’ll proudly exhale from both ends in observance of Lenin’s birthday AKA earthday.
