Greek historian Herotodus chose the original seven, which included the hanging gardens of Babylon, the statue of Zeus at Olympia, the Colossus of Rhodes and the lighthouse of Alexandria. That Herodotus was really smart. At least three of the seven traditional Wonders were built after he died, but he picked them anyway. What a guy!
