Thank you Salamander for your kind thoughts on my Goldie. She has dental issues and really likes canned food best (she was eating Pedigree)...but we switched her to what my kids call 'play doh' dog food (Purina Moist and Meaty)(not crunchy like dry, which she has trouble with) and not as moist (and inviting to her) as the canned stuff she loved. But she is eating it.

I will try your milk suggestion...she never has really liked milk...but she might go for it now...she loves (and I shouldn't admit this) American cheese. She doesn't get it often, but she really enjoys a slice every now and then (when particularly when she sees the kids are making sandwiches).

A little bit of water on it would no doubt make it very easy for her to eat.
