You are right about Obama -- and isn't he just taking a page from the UOx42 Handbook (cf. Chapter on Tying OKC Bombing to Talk Radio)???? I think the Obama platform is built on planks of pure cynicism, and I groan whenever I hear people say they like Obama -- because they really mean they like the *idea* of an Obama, not the actual incarnation)...

Edwards, OTOH, is a smarmy, yapping ankle-biter who just can't get traction...I expect him not to go anywhere by '08...;-))
