I was a teacher before I had my kiddos who are now 2,3 and 5. Each one of my kids will be taught that if they are defending themselves or their siblings, they will not be punished by mom and dad. To hell with the school, there are other schools. Of course my 5 year old has already been taught gun safety, appreciates the damage they can do and can hit the bullseye 4/6 times with a .22 rifle at 30 yards. Our three year old is being taught gun safety also already.

There are some parents left in this country that do not rely on others or schools to educate children. Schools teach the three r’s, we teach them about life. I was paddled in school, mom and dad didn’t care because of the circumstances.

This guy yesterday broke about 250 laws (about 4 for every victim, just a guess on my part). I am curious as to how many more laws the libs will try to pass because of this. Hopefully people in this country will recognize (it seems that many are today) that if one person had been armed, much of this could have been prevented.

LOL! Always told my kids not to start a fight but if they were attacked to end it. I feel the same-I won’t start one but I don’t give much either! Kudos to you and your kids.

I’ve always said learning about history/english/math is important, but if the kids can’t defend themselves, balance their checkbooks, be kind to animals, etc. what good is learning?

Law abiding people were killed yesterday because someone with no respect for the law abused the privlege of living in a free society. Passing more laws will not help one little bit-it’s like having locks on your doors-honest people don’t need them and dishonest people won’t heed them.
