Some evidence, not all. How many stories of heroism came from September 11th days, weeks and months later?

I saw part of interviews with 2 separate students who were indeed heroic as they barricaded doors in separate rooms. One after he had been shot and the shooter had briefly left only to try to reenter, the other as he heard what happened in a neighboring classroom. The later prevented anyone in the room from being killed although the gunman tried to get in and did manage to fire a few rounds into the room.

I guess some freepers missed those interviews or they don’t count as the kids didn’t die. Derek and Zach were the names of the guys.

But no one got together with a bunch of his buddies to rush the gunman, no one but the good Professor actually put his life on the line to save others. What was that quote? Something about there being more important and noble things than one’s own life? God bless the brave souls on that plane over Pennsylvania—but we will miss their bravery now that they are gone.

I saw the interviews last night. Those were brave boys (men) indeed. Holding the door while the perp is shooting through it is not something for the weak at heart.
