“.....In fact, if Hillary/Barack win in ‘08, there’s a good chance we won’t even be around to argue about this come 2012......”

I am hoping and praying that common sense will overtake the malcontents within our party. And you are absolutely right about what could happen if the Dems win. Iran and North Korea are too close to having nuclear weapons and it’s no time to put our fate into Hillary or Obama’s hands.

Exactly!! Let’s vote and work for whomever we want in the primaries. But at the end of the day we need to respect and get behind the winner in the general. Hillary and the terrorist must be defeated!

Course not, it is, as always, in Rush’ mind....all about him!

Rambing on and on and on. Cigars, golf, Imus, parties, turtles on the beach, and around we go again!

Wrong.

You have to read Rush's whole comment (posted above) - which is quite persuasive. His program was unaffected by the Virginia Tech shooting. Your local station may have cut away from his broadcast to cover it, but he was still broadcasting undisrupted. He spent a total of about 10 sentences on the shooting.

I heard his comment about the Hildebeast. He was talking about how the DemonRAT machine has the MSM as one of its tools to defeat conservatives and help the beast win the White House. He said that the Obama phenomenon would be easy to defeat. Obama had so very little experience that he would be easy to defeat and he had no chance of winning the nomination.

The latest Don Imus episode was a test run for the big fish like Rush before the elections. The effort was not about Imus at all. It was about how the MSM could attack the credibility of the Right. They want the voting public to see the Right as racist idiots not worth their attention. They want to shut up conservative Talk Radio before the elections so that the Hildebeast (Hilary Clinton for those who don’t know) has a cake walk into the White House.

Rush sees the 80% chance as a do-able possibility. The MSM is showing itself as very powerful. It is getting its talking points from the DemonRAT Left blog sites that are orchestrating the entire strategy against the Republican Party. The MSM has been very good at destroying those it sets it sights on while letting their own get away with just the same things they charge the Right for doing. Rush spoke about how the MSM will get these talking points completely out of context and launch their attacks whether they were true or not. And, the public will accept the MSM version without giving the victims of the attack a chance.

Rush has been aware that he has been in the cross hairs for a long time. He commented about how they have legions of paid operatives recording conservative Talk Radio and going through what has been said with a fine tooth comb to use against them.

What Rush failed to say that I want to say about the matter is this: Talk Radio is at a disadvantage to the MSM because Talk Radio is spontaneous. Very little is scripted. With the MSM, everything is edited down to the last “T.” There is very little room for human spontaneity. This is why the Founding Fathers held the freedom of speech in such a high regard. It is a human right to speak freely as the passions of the heart dictate. To have it any other way would be, as Rush called it today, Stalinism.

Don't forget her voice. I don't believe I've ever run across a ''national'' candidate with such an incredibly irritating speaking voice.

Plus all the stuff you posted, of course.

* Prepare for the worst, as the Hildabeast will “take from you for the common good.....” *

The playbook is written. Hillary! will be elected. She’ll up taxes on everyone, with the cover that she’s taxing big business. Hillary! and the Democrat controlled congress will choke businesses with new regulations. They will encourage startups in sectors that can’t possibly make money, (wind power). And when it all comes unglued, Hillary! will blame the previous administration for screwing things up.
The MSM will gladly comply with getting the message out. The American people will suffer, and think GWB is the cause of their suffering.

I am not a big fan of certain Republican candidates, but I will gladly vote for anyone to avoid seeing the phrase "President Hillary Clinton."

Heck, I had to vote for Dole in the vain attempt to keep Bubba a one-termer. It wasn't pleasant, but I am proud that I tried to do my part.

“””””you know me & Bill when we were like ahemmm you know just call me the.....”””””

Two years of primary/general electioneering by HRC and the general public will be soooooooo tired of her - they may not want to face 4 or 8 years of her shrillness.

If she does get elected POTUS - during her first year she’ll attempt to dismantle the Constitution - I hope we have a Newt Gingrich in Congress to stop or impeach her.

"The playbook is written. Hillary! will be elected"

I've felt that coming since 2004.

Too many here on FR, and the bulk of the Republican Party supporters are in denial, but it is appearing to be a done deal (no Conservative Republican ELECTABLE candidates are even in the field)....

arrrgghhh! I can just hear her saying that right now!

That business about her attempting to adopt different dialects for different audiences is simply pathetic, too. We had to do that in Linguistics 43 years ago , and only about 1 person in 10 was **any** good at it. She's bloody horrible at it.

What if conservatives (FReepers!) had to pick between Rudy who could beat Hillary, or Hillary? I am not sure they would even go out and vote. I’d rather have Rudy for 12 years as Prez than Hillary for one year. Maybe even one month. THINK, people! We do NOT have the MSM on our side. Life is NOT perfect.

You and me both. I'll admit to having very limited goals for 2008 based on the way things are shaping up. And those are, first, keeping Hillary! out of the WH, and, second, keeping Obama out of the WH. Nothing else really matters at this point because, as I noted previously, if either or both of them get in in 2008, I'm not sure any of us will be around to argue the points come 2012.

Anyone out there who isn't a full-blown Hillaryophile or Obamaphile has to understand this. We need to get behind whoever the opponent is for Hillary/Obama, and I don't care if it's Fred Thompson or Rudy Giuliani or John McCain or Duncan Hunter or whomever. We need to keep the country from going totally Marxist/Socialist, which is what will happen if Hillary or Barack get in.
