Good point. I continue to be completely underwhelmed by her acting. I thought she was completely upstaged by all her costars in Match Point, and in The Island, she was terrible in Scoop, in Black Dahlia, and she sleptwalked through Girl With A Pearl Earring.

Basically, the Hollywood formula is to pair her with a British leading man (Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Colin Firth, Ewan MacGregor, Hugh Jackman) who can act well enough to carry her through the film as she displays her figure.

It's a winning combo and I have zero problem with it, but she doesn't seem to understand her role.
