Per the wikipedia. Please note the article is in dispute:

According to the Parapsychological Association, remote viewing (RV) is a term for extra-sensory perception, usually attempted during experiments in which the percipient tries to describe a distant location or the environs of a distant agent. The term was introduced by Russell Targ and Harold Puthoff in 1974.[1]

Skeptics often say that remote viewing, like other forms of extra-sensory perception is the result of self-delusion or fraud, such as mentalism.

IMHO, it is in dispute because it is utter sci-fi. If this exists it should be relatively easy to prove. As in previous poster’s comments about blackjack dealers; what is the number on the card that I hold in my hand at a distance of 10 paces.

Okay,...5 paces.

2 paces?

Okay, you may put your hand on the back of the card. What is the number??

For a hundred thousand dollars,...what is the number?

To reveal the location of various internationaal terrorists. Where is their location?

Wanna guess my weight?
