Those three guys should sue Nifong and their alleged ‘victim’ for every penny they have. I can’t imagine going through the Hell they were put through for political and racial purposes. And when Scooter Libby’s conviction is tossed on appeal, he should go after Fitzgerald.

There's a Time Magazine article posted on FR today in which the guys' lawyers in an interview say that all options are open for suing, not just Nifong but the police dept., the Duke 88 faculty, and Duke University itself.

I hope they do, for I feel sure that they could win against all of these entities....as well as those attorneys in Nifong's office, who themselves are officers of the court and obviously failed to do THEIR duty. I think Duke President Brodhead should also be included in any court action.
