Good morning.

It’s true about flowers — the scent, the color and the sheer joy of having such an extravagence lifts our spirits. It is the same with perfume for me.

We have friends flying in from CT this afternoon and staying with us for a week. The house is ready and we’re looking forward to being with them. We aren’t looking forward to the Altanta part of of the visit, but we have fun together anyway.

Thanks for the heads up about that book; I’ve marked it down.

Just about everytime I go to Waco, I pick up flowers. I love them. When my roses begin blooming I usually have one or some in the kitchen and living room.

So many people complain about smells/allergies these days that I am hesitant sometimes to use the perfume I chose at a perfume shop in Greenville, NC. I love it's refreshingly different/exotic/oriental fragrance...called Issey Miyake.

That shop also offers handblown perfume bottles....I have a collection of them, which I plan to will to each of my granddaughters. LOL
