There is a small town north of here named “Chicken” (Alaska) because the settlers could not spell “Ptarmigan”
Yes. HA! HA!
I know that story about Chicken, Alaska. Do you see ptarmigans in your area?
Yes, lots of them. Kinda small and scrawny though, takes at least two to make a good meal!
Cool. Are they tamed? Ptarmigans have cute feathery feet and they turn white.
Pure white this time of year.
thx for the ping.........oh the nature of it.......
Cool. They are cute when they are white. Well, they are always cute. See any bunnies near ptarmigans?
Oh, yes. Dark... terrible... vengeance.
Ptarmigans saw that first hand in the Great Ptarmigan/Bunny War. It was a bloody smackdown and act of genocide. Leporius and his filthy henchbunnies, Bugs Bunny, Greg the Bunny, Buster Bunny, Bucky O’Hare, Peter Cottontail, Thumper, Bunny Rabbit, and Easter Bunny are behind it.
