The Blue Man Group were in Columbia last night and it was the first time I ever saw them live.
Anyone seen them and how do you like the live performances?
We almost got to see them here in Louisville.
The BMG has made a small notoriety - somethign to do with not having union labor for their roadies, and there has been sporadic picketing at some venues.
The show is supposed to be a lot of fun!
It’s my understanding there are MANY Blue Man Groups. Franchise.
It was very entertaining....special effects, lights, the different musical instruments and the videos. Impressive!
I have seen them several times in New York City at their Off Broadway theater. Best show I’ve ever seen.
Saw 'em in Manhattan in March of '02 and loved the show.
I can’t say...
I’m waiting for the Republican version... Red Man Group.
Did they pull people from the audience to participate? I enjoyed that aspect as well. Couldn't tell if those people were plants or if they were really picking innocent audience members, but it was fun nonetheless.
Yes, they pulled two out of the audience for the marshmellow throw. That was just hilarious. Imagine how long it took to throw and catch the marshmellow! He caught every one.
Saw 'em in NYC and at the Venetian in Vegas. Both good shows.
I saw the Boston group a few years back, in a small theater. They were awesome. Hilarious, weird, interactive, quirky, at times actually thought-provoking.
