It is a virtue not to speak ill of the dead. Rudy got this one right.

Saddam Hussein is dead. So is Stalin and Hitler. So his Mao tse Tung. So are the Rosenburgs and a number of others who were condemned and given capital punishment in the U.S. So, we shouldn't speak ill of them?

But, noone force Rudy to say anything about Abzug. He CHOSE to praise the ugly socialist feminazi. Just as he CHOSE to officially CELEBRATE the anniversary of Roe v. Wade every year he was Mayor of NYC. If one chooses to engage in liberal activity, or to praise liberals and their special liberal anniversaries, it tends to prove that one is, in fact, a liberal.

If we have to resort to comparing Bella Abzug to Hitler to criticize Giuliani, then by default we have lost the argument.

I don't think we need to do that. Rudy has a lot of faults and I would not vote for him for dog catcher, but to post this thread is the functional equivalent of admitting that we have no ammuntion. We have plenty of ammuntion to show that Rudy is not an acceptable candidate, we don't need to grovel in the mud to look for rocks when you have handgranades and rocket launchers on your belt.
