He was linked to a whole stable of younger babes between his first marriage and his second

OMG, he dated women when he was single. I'm shocked.

Are you really as nasty a person as you present yourself to be in these absolutely disgraceful posts?

I think Rudy has opened the door for all this by his own past actions. All of this information is public record, it isn’t as if anyone needs to search that hard.

By posting press releases containing boilerplate language about the passing of a local political figure? I think that's what you fail to understand . . . because you think this kind of material is dispositive.

Giuliani praised a disgusting, socialist feminazi Democrat. Exposing that provides another data point for conservatives who wish to derail liberal Giuliani's campaign or at least do it some damage. It could end up a talking point in a larger assessment of Giuliani's liberalism or could be used by one of the many radio talk show hosts who use Free Republic for show prep material.

Exposing liberals is what we do here on Free Republic. Not every post is a homerun, but does tell a little more about the liberal being targetted.

I want to know on what planet a politician does not issue a statement regarding the death of a political figure because they belong to different political parties. Please tell me you are not an advisor.

That’s funny. Post something stupid, get called on it, and you see it as a victory. Brilliant.

It is a virtue not to speak ill of the dead. Rudy got this one right.

Saddam Hussein is dead. So is Stalin and Hitler. So his Mao tse Tung. So are the Rosenburgs and a number of others who were condemned and given capital punishment in the U.S. So, we shouldn't speak ill of them?

But, noone force Rudy to say anything about Abzug. He CHOSE to praise the ugly socialist feminazi. Just as he CHOSE to officially CELEBRATE the anniversary of Roe v. Wade every year he was Mayor of NYC. If one chooses to engage in liberal activity, or to praise liberals and their special liberal anniversaries, it tends to prove that one is, in fact, a liberal.

“When I find a conservative Republican, I’ll vote for them.”

Given your use of the future tense, it sounds like you have never actually voted for a Republican. How many Democrats have you voted for?

More details, please.

“Finally the old commie dingbat kicked the bucket.”

She was much worse than a dingbat. Bella Abzug said very ugly things about the Baltic republics for resisting absorption and conquest (tens of thousands died) by Stalin. Abzug condemned the Finns for their brave resistance. And the East Germans. And the Hungarians. And the Czechoslovaks. And the South Vietnamese. For the same reason: they were resisting communism. And Bella Abzug was a communist enabler.

National Review had the best Abzug obit of all:

“She will not be missed.”

Rudy offered the standard public condolence. Period. Now, back to our debate.
