What? Where in the world are you getting this? The most Virgie wanted - the *most* - was 2 weeks during the year and a week sometime around the holidays.

That’s not jerking a baby all around the US between CA and TX! Divorce custodies with sometimes an evil parent involved allow a lot more than that. No one here is evil except HKS.

I think once Larry officially gets Dannielynn he wont let her go any where for a LONG time. IMO I dont think Virgie should get a set amount of time to “HAVE” Dannielynn. I mean do any of us with children have an agreement with grandparents that they can have the children for a given amount of time? Even when one of the parents die, I’m sure the other parent will keep in touch with the grandparents like before. I know this is a different type of case, but IMO Larry seems like a good man and i believe he would want Dannielynn to know her family, including her grandparents. Visits, overniters and such. Does this mean that Larry’s parents have to go to court to get their share of Dannielynn?

I agree. I think people are having a hard time separating the terms custody vs. guardianship. Custody is without a doubt, an all-encompassing role with all the legal rights attached to it. Guardianships vary. They can be as broad as custodial rights. They can be ad litem which would only pertain to legal issues. Or they can be issue specific, which would fall under limited guardianships.

I got it from TMZ and some guy reporting from the Bahamas earlier. O’Quinn was asking for joint custody, they said. ET just said Virgie will probably get “guardianship,” which sounds a heck of a lot better.

We all know that if someone has “joint custody,” it’s a constant switching the kids from one parent to the other. I’ve seen it happen with divorced couples.
