They were called out and targeted with the remarks Imus made. The analogy with the rap songs doesn’t hold up because it is generalized to all women. These girls were named and then that hateful comment was made. I think he was just joking and being an old curmudgeon but if they are offended they also have the right to say they are offended and that’s where it should end. Being offended and hurt is a part of life.
I agree with you. I said the news conference was over the top this morning and you cannot imagine how much that upset some other Freepers....
