“Gradual handover makes no sense. Is it because there are traces of drugs still in there? Or HKS is a control freak and wants to make it difficult for Larry? It is not like HKS took care of her. And at her age, the sooner the transition is made the better. “
Yes, HKS is a control freak and you are right, gradual makes no sense for DL’s needs. It’ll just be protracted confusion from a baby’s point of view. Plus her usual caregivers are bound to be upset which she’ll pick up on. No way a baby can comprehend “gradual.” It’ll just be prolongin the confusion until new routines with newtoher caregivers and she can fall into routines.
It might make sense for LB and any other caregiver he’s employing to spend as much as a day (maybe two at the outside)to learn the patterns ( if any) of what the Sterns have been doing with her, so they have an idea of what DL will be expecting.
I agree 100 percent.
When I babysit my grandchildren, when they go to bed, if I’m there when they wake up, they’re fine with it.
It won’t matter to a baby that young; in fact, it may be better for her not to have those freaks around her carrying her like she’s a sack of potatoes.
