but there are also times when you have to vote for the candidate who’s principles are closest to your principles, to block another candidate who is much worse. Sadly that is true, but voting for the lesser of two evils still leaves us with evil.

Yes but no human is all good. Only God and Jesus are completely good. So any man or woman who we elect will be imperfect and wrong in some decisions. We have to choose the best candidate running in the election.
