I think all of us would like to keep democrats out of the Whitehouse, we just have different ideas on how that might come about. I can get passionate about and sometimes even make stupid jokes about candidates that I like or dislike - but I don't think it helps anyone's cause to sling personal attacks at each other. I think that turns a lot of people off.
Howlin’s comments, at least the ones I’ve read, are not that nasty or personal. She’s just a tough Southern lady and you have to expect some of that stuff out of North Carolina.
